The members of the Advisory Board of TRAVELTECH.VC assists the startups that are part of the portfolio of investment vehicles created under the umbrella of TRAVELTECH.VC as Tech 1 SCR and Travel Tech 2 FCRE S.A., and later they could consider becoming investors or owners of them, besides commercial partners.
Another important point is that all the startups that we invest in are B2B or SaaS companies. This means that the members of the Advisory Board have a key role in advising the investment funds that we create under the TRAVELTECH.VC brand. They can tell if they are interested in signing a business deal with any of the startups or not, and what terms they would accept. This way, we can make better investment decisions, reduce the risk, and increase the value of the startups. The more business deals and markets the startups have, the higher their valuation will be.
Becoming a member of the Advisory Board is free. The only requirements are to guarantee a C-level participation in the annual Advisory Board Meeting and Travel Innovation Summit; the predisposition to share their pain points which could be solved with technology; and the will to commercially collaborate with the participating companies in which TT1 has invested and provide advise regarding scaleups before TT2 decides to invest in them.
